Hey, I’m Rob and this is my blog. Truth be told, only time will tell if i have lessons worth sharing but if you don’t try, you won’t know. It was this or a podcast and I think we have enough Middle-class White Guys doing that right now.

About 6 months ago i decided alongside my business partner Oscar to quit our jobs and go it alone. After many months of prep and research we decided to pull the trigger and even before launching there were so many things we wish we knew. Money and Time would have been saved if were had some of the insider knowledge i’m going to share here. I grew up and still live in London, namely south of Croydon unfortunately, but enough of that. I’ve had a varied career already at 28, I’ve worked in supermarkets, clothes stores, the houses of parliament and finance companies. I’d argue that variety has set me up well for success, lord knows i wouldn’t be here if I had jumped around so much. As you’ll see, i believe taking lessons from different industries is what sets many companies apart – if you copy your competition you’ll only be as good as they are.
